Job summary

St Joseph Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide CNA in Richland, MS to deliver personal care and support to patients within an interdisciplinary team. This role emphasizes compassionate patient attention and collaboration with family and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Completed High School or GED
• Formal certification training or skills test with competency evaluation
• Minimum 6 months direct care experience
• Current CPR certification required
• Have dependable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with personal care and homemaking assistance per regulations
• Act as active member of interdisciplinary care team
• Communicate and follow up with supervisors and coworkers about patient needs
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families and staff
