Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow market share by building strong relationships with physicians and care partners, opening new accounts, and expanding existing ones to deliver timely admissions and high-quality care.

You will balance compassion with performance, meet weekly goals, adapt to changing priorities, and provide education to referral partners while representing Compassus with integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and growing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing ones to grow the book of business.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals.
• Cultivate and manage trust-based relationships with referral sources.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families, even in challenging times.
• Be willing to work outside standard hours to ensure timely patient support.
• Seek feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations.
• Adapt to change and support the team and business needs.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners.
