Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to maintain high homeowner satisfaction by handling warranty requests, performing repairs, or coordinating qualified subcontractors.

The role requires carpentry, drywall, texture repair and painting, scheduling and overseeing repairs while ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates need a GED, 3+ years’ experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel within communities. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of carpentry, drywall, texture repair and painting experience.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, and willing to travel within communities day and night.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work under pressure; independent productivity.
• Proficiency with MS Office and DRH Warranty applications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate warranty issues and determine warrantable items.
• Process work orders and instructions for homeowner repairs.
• Perform repairs including carpentry, drywall, texture and painting.
• Schedule subcontractors and manage warranty repairs.
• Ensure repairs meet compliance standards and complete on time.
• Maintain rapport with homeowners and subcontractors.
• Document charge-backs and invoices.
• Travel as needed; overtime possible.
