D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to manage homeowner warranty requests, perform repairs, and coordinate subcontractors. You will ensure repairs comply with standards and communicate with homeowners to resolve issues efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of related carpentry/repair experience, and the ability to travel between communities and work overtime. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; three+ years of carpentry, drywall, texture repair and painting experience.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel among communities.
• Proficiency with DRH Warranty apps on a smartphone, tablet or laptop; strong communication and organization.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine warranty eligibility.
• Process written/electronic work orders and follow supervisor instructions.
• Perform repairs such as carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting.
• Schedule subcontractors to complete warranty repairs and manage timelines.
• Ensure all repairs meet compliance standards and are properly documented.
• Maintain good rapport with subcontractors and homeowners through clear communication.
• Follow up with homeowners to ensure concerns are addressed promptly.
• Process charge-back documentation and invoices.
• Demonstrate professional and ethical conduct to support customer satisfaction and company profitability.
• Ability to work overtime and travel overnight as required.
