Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate, and troubleshoot home theater, computing, smart home and networking products in customers' homes. You will tailor solutions based on conversations and collaborate with Geek Squad Agents, service partners, and supply chain teams to drive performance toward Best Buy’s yearly initiatives.

The role requires strong customer service, physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds solo and 150 pounds with a team, a valid

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy safety standards.
Ability to lift weight up to 75 pounds with or without assistance, up to 150 pounds when part of a two-person team.
6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Advise customers and fulfill on lifestyle product and service recommendations.
Perform delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting of consumer electronics devices.
Lead two-person jobs and complete tasks independently when needed.
Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork and payments, and follow safety guidelines.
