Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate, and troubleshoot home theater, computing, smart home and networking products in customers' homes. You will discuss lifestyle needs, recommend solutions, and partner with Geek Squad Agents to meet company initiatives.

You will lead two-person jobs when required, manage inventory and vehicle maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while delivering a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain state/local licensing if required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb alone, up to 150 lb with a partner, and up to 250 lb with assistive tools.
• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery/installation/troubleshooting experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide seamless customer experience by advising on lifestyle recommendations and fulfilling on products and services.
• Perform delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting of consumer electronics.
• Lead two-person jobs and handle tasks independently when required.
• Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork, payment processing, and safety compliance.
