Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking motivated sales professionals to advise customers on security and smart home solutions. You will visit customers at their homes, demonstrating value, building trust, and tailoring systems to fit each space.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, relationship-building, and driving referrals in a dynamic team. Training and travel within the designated territory are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with customers, becoming a reliable advisor during the sale and beyond installation.
• Customize each system to fit the client’s space and lifestyle, combining security, automation, and life-safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments are fulfilled and generate referrals.
• Identify and generate new sales leads to maximize outreach.
