Job summary

ADT is seeking self-motivated sales advisors to demonstrate the value of our security and smart home solutions to customers in homes nationwide. You will explain products in depth, build trust with integrity, and help protect what matters most.

This role involves visiting customers at their homes, tailoring each system to fit space and lifestyle, following up after installation, and identifying new leads to grow the business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset; thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals.
• Strong communicator and relationship builder who can consult with customers and guide to the right solution.
• Adaptable and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with customers, acting as a reliable advisor during and after the sale.
• Customize each system to fit client space, lifestyle, and concerns combining security and life safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating sales leads to maximize outreach.
