Job summary

Lincare Holdings seeks a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to set up home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, and oxygen concentrators. You will educate patients on proper use and ensure safe operation of devices.

You will inspect devices, review patient information, and maintain records while staying current with pulmonary care practices. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• CRTs or RRTs credentialed in the relevant state are required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for patient visits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, oxygen concentrators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to determine appropriate treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain complete patient records in line with accreditation standards.
• Keep up to date with respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with coverage determined by center size.
