Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join its growing team. You will set up home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP units, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators, and educate patients on proper usage.

You will inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safety and performance, review prescriptions and patient information to guide treatment, maintain accurate records, stay current with respiratory care techniques, and be available for after-hours and weekend

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care and equipment education.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot respiratory devices in home settings.
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators; educate patients on proper usage.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete and organized patient records in line with accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
