Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team in Winchester, VA. The role involves setting up and educating patients on home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen concentrators, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The ideal candidate will have CRT/RRT credentials, a valid license, and a reliable vehicle for territory visits. On-call work after hours and weekends is required based on center needs, with competitive hourly

Qualifications

• CRTs or RRTs qualified for this position.
• Active state or national license/certification required.
• Must have reliable vehicle and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete, organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Be available for on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with scheduling based on center size.
