Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage.

Travel within assigned territory using a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed. The position requires state license/certification, strong communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• CRTs or RRTs must be licensed or eligible in their state.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Must be able to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment (ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment.
• Maintain patient records in an organized, compliant manner.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; distribution depends on center size.
