Job Description

READ THIS FIRST

This is not a typical project management role. Project Leaders do not just coordinate jobs, they own the outcome. Every project reflects company standards, homeowner experience, crew performance, and profitability. This role requires ownership, field leadership, problem‑solving, and growth willingness.

WHO THRIVES HERE

Project Leaders who thrive here:

  • Take responsibility instead of making excuses
  • Communicate clearly and directly
  • Catch details others miss
  • Follow through consistently
  • Support crews and teammates
  • Look for ways to improve, not just complete tasks
  • Want to grow into bigger leadership opportunities over time

If you are not naturally wired for ownership, accountability, and high standards, this role will not be the right fit.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Project Leader you own assigned projects from handoff through completion and final collection. You are the primary point of contact for homeowners, crews, and internal teams, responsible for on‑time, on‑budget, quality projects with a controlled, professional customer experience.

ROLE PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITY

The Project Leader owns all job‑level outcomes and ensures each project is delivered according to the signed agreement, approved scope, company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.

Success is measured by:

  • Project readiness and execution discipline
  • Schedule adherence and cycle time
  • Change order and add‑on execution
  • Final payment collection and clean close‑out
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Project Readiness

  • Complete pre‑installation walkthroughs
  • Verify scope, measurements, and contract details
  • Confirm permits, materials, crews, and schedules
  • Resolve or elevate readiness issues before job start

Execution & Oversight

  • Manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Perform site visits and quality inspections
  • Ensure work meets company and manufacturer standards
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly

Customer Experience

  • Serve as the primary homeowner contact
  • Provide proactive updates throughout the project
  • Set and manage expectations around scope and schedule
  • Handle escalations professionally
  • Identify and execute approved add‑ons and change orders
  • Ensure all changes are scoped, priced, and documented
  • Protect margins and elevate risks early

Documentation & Close‑Out

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, photos, and notes
  • Ensure punch lists are completed
  • Collect final payment in full
  • Close projects with no unresolved issues
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Project Leaders are evaluated on:

  • Project readiness and scheduling discipline
  • Installation quality and defect‑free close‑outs
  • Documentation accuracy and completeness
  • Customer experience and feedback
  • Change order and add‑on execution
  • Percentage of projects collected in full
  • Overall cycle time from sale to completion
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of project leadership, project management, or comparable field‑operations experience in construction
  • Residential exterior experience strongly preferred (roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or similar)
  • Must be capable of leading jobs in the field, making real‑time decisions, and owning the outcome from start to finish
  • Strong communicator who can manage homeowners, crews, and internal handoffs with clarity and professionalism
  • Highly organized with strong follow‑through, attention to detail, and CRM/documentation discipline
  • Able to manage multiple active jobs at once without losing control of schedule, quality, or customer experience
  • Comfortable addressing problems directly, holding people accountable, and escalating risk early
  • Comfortable in a high‑accountability environment where performance, ownership, and standards matter
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary and performance incentives tied to results. Compensation includes:

  • Competitive base salary based on experience
  • Performance‑based bonuses and incentives
  • Opportunities for additional earnings through approved add‑ons and change orders
  • Increased earning potential as performance, trust, and responsibility grow

Benefits:

  • Health, dental, and vision support
  • Life insurance policy
  • Paid training and structured onboarding
  • Company‑provided tablet and required software
  • Company events and incentives
  • Advancement opportunities as the company grows
  • Holidays and additional time‑off benefits as outlined in the Employment Agreement
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
