Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to provide in-home delivery of durable medical equipment to Apria patients.

You will pull, pack, deliver and pick up items, educate patients on equipment use, maintain logs and vehicle checks, and respond to on-call requests while upholding safety and accuracy.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, a valid driver's license, and meeting DOT/FDA standards.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of three years driving history.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with DOT, FDA and accrediting body standards.

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instructs patients on basic use of respiratory therapy and other equipment as allowed by licensure.
• Loads and unloads equipment onto delivery vehicle and maintains delivery logs.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance checks and reports malfunctions.
• Completes necessary paperwork and notifies supervisor of any safety concerns.
