Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. You will load, deliver and pick up equipment, and may instruct patients on proper use of respiratory therapy devices and related supplies.

The role requires driving a vehicle, maintaining logs, and ensuring safe home environments. A high school diploma and driving history are required, with additional driver training provided by Apria Healthcare.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.

Mansioni

• Deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy and durable medical equipment.
• Load and unload equipment from delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call.
• Complete daily logs and delivery paperwork; distribute to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain patient profiles and notify supervisor of unsafe home conditions.
• Assist with cleaning and repair of equipment and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Report malfunctions to supervisor and perform other duties as required.
