Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to provide durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home. You will deliver, assemble, and demonstrate proper use of equipment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and a minimum three years of driving history; candidates must be at least 21 and able to pass driver training and DOT/FDA compliance.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and other equipment/services.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Complete daily delivery logs and forms; distribute paperwork to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain patient profiles and notify supervisor of issues in patients' homes.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report malfunctions.
