Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is hiring a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home. You will handle packing, delivery and pickup of supplies, and may educate patients on equipment use.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and a valid driver\'s license with at least three years of driving history. The position offers an hourly salary range and requires adherence to regulatory standards and company

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and standards of accrediting body.
• English (reading, writing, verbal).

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and other equipment/services approved by state licensure.
• Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls during regular business hours and on-call.
• Completes daily delivery logs and related paperwork.
• Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains patient profiles and related documentation.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe home environments or any concerning findings.
• May assist with repair of equipment and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
