AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patient homes or clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety, and maintain equipment according to HIPAA and infection control standards.

Daily activities include on-site visits, equipment maintenance, and coordinating with care teams to support high-quality home-based care. A valid driver’s license and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred; senior level requires two years.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues including emergency conditions when required.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment per policies and safety standards.
• Process orders and documentation to support patient care and reimbursement.
