Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC seeks a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes and clinic settings. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe operation, perform routine maintenance, and document care and reimbursement.

The role emphasizes patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and on-call readiness. A high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and customer-service experience are required or preferred, with training provided

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Experience in healthcare field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use and safety.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support ongoing care.
• Maintain equipment and report issues or hazards promptly.
• Ensure HIPAA confidentiality and PPE compliance.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and complete required documentation.
