Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to safely deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or long‑term care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety and proper use, and support care transitions with HIPAA-compliant practices.

Primarily field-based with daily home visits; requires a valid driver’s license and commitment to quality patient care and compliance with company policies and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of medical equipment and applicable regulations.
• Assess patients and provide ongoing care support.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues, including emergencies.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain home medical equipment at patient locations.
