Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to safely deliver, set up and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or field settings.

You will educate patients and caregivers, perform device maintenance, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting reimbursement and documentation processes. Field-based role requiring a valid driver's license and strong customer service background.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs; report equipment hazards or incidents as required.
• Process orders and complete documentation accurately and timely to support patient care and reimbursement.
