Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment for patients in their homes, clinics, or other sites as needed. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe use and independence, while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a preference for prior healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Healthcare experience preferred or related field experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and HME equipment to patients.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support ongoing care.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety standards, including PPE use.
• Complete documentation promptly to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
