Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Palo Alto is seeking a Home Lending Assistant to support Home Lending Advisors and customers through the loan process. You will take inquiries, assist with applications, coordinate documentation, and help ensure a smooth closing while delivering excellent service.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sales/real estate, at least four years in mortgage loan processing, and strong communication, organization, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• Four years’ work experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take initial inquiries for prequalification, process applications, request and review documents with Home Lending Advisor(s).
• Discuss products and pricing as needed with Home Lending Advisor(s).
• Review complex files to identify problems and propose solutions with Advisors prior to submission.
• Manage pipeline and communicate status updates to borrowers, builders, and Advisors.
