Always Compassionate Health in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse for home infusion field care across the Lower Hudson Valley. The RN will initiate infusion therapy in patients' homes, perform follow-up visits, and mentor newer nurses, collaborating with an infusion intake team to ensure smooth care initiation.

Requires NYS RN license, 3+ years in home infusion, and HIPAA knowledge. Pay starts at $50/hour with higher rates for complex cases; minimum 10 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years as an RN in home infusion, hospital, or clinic.
• Infusion experience with IV/SQIG and biologics is required.
• Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and nursing policies.

Aufgaben

• Conduct patient visits to initiate care and perform follow-up visits.
• Provide infusion therapy and monitor patient safety and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on therapy administration.
• PIV, PICC, and central line care as applicable.
• Document clinical data in electronic systems; maintain accurate records.
• Precept and evaluate newly hired nurses as requested.
