Job summary

Always Compassionate Health is seeking a Home Infusion Registered Nurse to perform patient visits, initiate infusion care, and provide follow-up in Hudson Valley homes. You will precept new nurses and collaborate with the Infusion Intake team to ensure seamless care initiation.

Requirements include NYS RN license, 3+ years in infusion settings, and willingness to provide education to patients and families. A strong focus on safety, HIPAA, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of full-time RN experience in home infusion, hospital, clinic, or medical facility.
• Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Infusion experience is REQUIRED; must infuse IV/SQIG and biologic medications.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and nursing policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient visits to initiate and follow up on infusion care.
• Precept and evaluate newly hired nurses as requested.
• Coordinate with Infusion Intake Team to ensure seamless initiation of infusion in patients' homes.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and central line care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy administration via IV.
