Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Home Infusion RN to provide 1:1 patient care in homes across Upper Sussex, NJ and Dingmans Ferry, PA. You will administer immunoglobulin therapy, IV antibiotics, TPN/enteral nutrition, biologics, and more while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a valid RN license, a minimum of 1 year of infusion/home health experience, CPR certification, and willingness to travel to patients’ homes; a BSN is preferred and travel is 100%.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule with the availability to work a variety of shift models.
• Percentage of Travel: 100% to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing infusion nursing services, pharmacy services and state laws and regulations.
• Complies with INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, and ANA code of ethics.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering providers and patients to develop and monitor goals of therapies.
• Documents patient care in the place of service including home or AIS.
• Manages vascular access devices and peripheral infusion, and draws labs via venipuncture.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and recommends changes to physicians.
