Job summary

Amerita, Inc is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead a branch in Texas, overseeing daily operations, budgeting, staff management and patient care delivery. The role emphasizes compliance with state and federal regulations, and driving quality improvement programs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a pharmacy-related license, with at least five years of healthcare experience and one year in management. A fast-paced, non-retail environment is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of practice.
• Flexibility to work on‑call evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall operational and financial performance of the assigned Amerita pharmacy location.
• Assists with development of the Branch Budget and manages profit and loss statement for the location.
• Hires, coaches, evaluates and disciplines branch staff; sets performance expectations.
• Oversees purchasing, inventory and patient care operations to ensure high-quality patient care and cost-effective practices.
• Optimizes staff productivity and scheduling based on business volume and trends.
• Develops and implements local Quality Improvement program and monitors results.
