Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the Carrollton, TX branch. You will oversee inventory, dispensing, staffing, regulatory compliance, and patient care while driving financial performance.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, pharmacy licensing, at least five years in healthcare with at least one year in management, and the ability to coordinate clinical programs and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and pharmacist license in the practice state.
• Minimum 5 years healthcare experience with at least 1 year in management.
• Broad knowledge of home infusion, pharmacy and nursing regulations and administration.
• Excellent organization and communications skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch pharmacy operations and patient care ensuring high-quality service.
• Manage budget and branch P&L to meet objectives.
• Hire, coach, evaluate and discipline staff; set performance expectations.
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory, compounding, dispensing and delivery processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness across the branch.
• Develop and monitor quality improvement programs and clinical initiatives.
• Participate in contract negotiations with local first-dose pharmacies and oversee contract pharmacies.
• Provide pharmacy expertise in inter-departmental meetings and with care teams.
