Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our branch pharmacy operations, including care delivery, inventory, quality improvement, and staff supervision. This role requires driving performance while maintaining high-quality patient care and cost efficiency.

The manager will oversee scheduling, purchasing, and adherence to federal and state regulations, while collaborating with regional leadership to execute business strategies and clinical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration, Business, Marketing or equivalent.
• Five years of healthcare experience with at least one year in a managerial role.
• Broad knowledge of home infusion, pharmacy and nursing regulations and administration.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of practice.
• Flexible schedule with on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Current valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operational and financial performance of the assigned Amerita pharmacy location.
• Assist with development of Branch Budget and manage profit and loss for the location.
• Hire, coach, evaluate and discipline branch staff; set performance expectations.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory and patient care operations to ensure high-quality care and cost-effectiveness.
• Optimize staff productivity and scheduling according to volume and trends.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Manager to develop branch sales strategy and plan.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement local Quality Improvement program and monitor results.
• Participate in development and implementation of targeted clinical programs.
• Monitor branch performance through audits, surveys and customer feedback.
• Direct pharmacy operations and ensure licensure compliance.
• Maintain records and perform pharmacist duties as needed.
• Coordinate intake, patient records, care planning and clinical monitoring.
