You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, purchasing, and clinical duties while collaborating with leadership to optimize daily operations and cost containment. A strong regulatory background and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license active and unrestricted in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or equivalent).
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations relevant to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy staff in scheduling, purchasing, and clinical responsibilities.
• Collaborate with pharmacy management to implement efficient daily operations and cost containment strategies.
• Provide clinical and technical support to pharmacy and regional staff, fostering a team-based care model.
• Document communications and clinical interventions in the patient’s medical record, including interactions with families and caregivers.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, including medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications.
