Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and policy adherence. The role includes financial oversight and strategic communication with owners and the corporate office on finance, performance improvement, and clinical implementation of therapies.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.
• Preferred: three years clinical experience.
• Preferred: management of pharmacy support personnel.
• Preferred: infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience.
• Sterile compounding training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies and procedures.
• Oversees physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as liaison between Board of Management and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees across departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on health care provision by professionals.
• Resolves questions, problems, and issues for departments and staff.
• Implements and upholds company policies and protocols in patient service.
• Involved in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care.
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> for sterile compounding quality.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff.
• Reviews charts and lab results for acceptance and product selection.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness and cost.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to physicians.
• Supervises pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
