Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee all departments, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and adherence to policies. The role involves interfacing with owners and the corporate office on finance, performance, and clinical implementation of therapies.

Responsibilities include leading pharmacy operations, staff management, and strategic planning to enhance revenue and care quality, with emphasis on sterility and USP <797> compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold B.S or PharmD with GA Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with staff, referral sources, physicians, and patients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advanced computer skills.
• Strong business and financial understanding for profitable operations.
• Preferred: 3 years clinical experience.
• Preferred: Experience managing pharmacy support staff.
• Preferred: 1 year infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience.
• Preferred: Sterile compounding training.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as liaison between management and staff across departments.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Maintains regulatory mandates on professional health care provision.
• Implements and upholds company policies and protocols for consumer service.
• Contributes to strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> for sterile preparations.
• Leads performance improvement initiatives and assigns staff to projects.
• Reviews charts and lab results for acceptance and supply management.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for safety, cost, and completeness.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to the medical team.
• Supervises pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and programs.
• Participates in on-call rotations as needed.
