Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or an infusion suite, following a physician’s plan of care under supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team.

The incumbent will educate patients and families, perform necessary treatments, and support discharge planning while adhering to HIPAA and agency policies. A valid RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments and educates patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs and status at each visit and communicates changes to physician.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Delivers patient-centered teaching to promote independence with prescribed therapy.
• Communicates with Clinical team and documents care in real-time for billing and compliance.
