Job summary

Amerita in Chattanooga is seeking a part-time home infusion nurse to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes. You will assess patients, implement plans of care, and coordinate with pharmacy and providers to support infusion therapies.

The role requires at least one year of RN experience, a valid state license, CPR, and the ability to travel to patient homes. Expect a 20-hour week with potential on-call and weekend coverage; benefits include 401(k) and insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license valid in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse; infusion/home health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and establishes/implements the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to infusion nursing policies and state regulations.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, providers and patients to monitor therapies.
• Completes patient care documentation in home setting.
• Manages vascular access devices and labs as needed.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Evaluates progress and suggests changes to the Plan of Care.
• Coordinates nursing care with home health and other agencies.
• Participates in on-call rotation per branch protocol.
