Job summary

Lowe's in Alabama is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, solutions-focused service throughout their visit. You will work in a department-based environment, perform light stocking, assist with orders and deliveries, and participate in training to improve product knowledge and customer satisfaction.

In this role you will engage with customers, answer questions, and help them feel confident while shopping for home improvement

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by stocking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service delivery.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
