Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement needs.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating items, stock shelves, and ensure orders and deliveries are accurate. The role emphasizes delivering friendly service, answering questions, and supporting multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by checking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
