Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in Tulsa, OK to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to suitable products. You will become a product expert, explaining features and financing options to close sales, while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role covers various departments and emphasizes helping customers achieve home improvement goals through consultative selling and effective teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail experience if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates and scheduling installer visits.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors and other stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews by pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and respond to requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department on the Sales floor and coach around development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
