Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in the United States to engage customers, understand their project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, sharing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering exceptional service.

You will support a fast-paced store environment, assist with orders and installations, and help maintain pricing integrity while collaborating with team members across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating the advantages of Lowe's products.
• Serve as a contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing orders, and following up for project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/store to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews by pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates in the department with on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
