Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in Anchorage to assist customers, understand project needs, and recommend Lowe’s products and services. You’ll become a product expert, answer questions, and help customers complete their home improvement projects.

In this role you’ll interact with customers across departments, provide recommendations, close sales, and support daily store operations. Training and growth opportunities are available in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule visits and track orders.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
