Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers in-store, understand project needs, and guide them to products and services that fit their home improvement goals. You will become a product expert, explaining specs, features, and financing options to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

You'll work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, while helping with inventory, pricing, and training colleagues. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external experience if no education met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with metrics/goals.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods; lift 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a contact for customers and vendors with project estimates and installations.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores for replacement stock.
• Perform price reviews and ensure pricing accuracy/documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist colleagues on the sales floor.
• Train associates on the floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
