Job summary

Lowe’s in Minnesota is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and help them find the right products and financing options to complete home improvement projects.

You’ll become the product expert, discuss specifications and promotions, process orders, and support installation scheduling. The role involves active customer interaction, departmental collaboration, and on-the-floor training to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and do basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.
• Obtain sales licensure/registration if required by state; Lowe’s will support.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe’s products and services.
• Serve as department contact, provide estimates, schedule installers, process orders and follow up.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
