Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist in Alaska to engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will be the product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales and meet customer goals.

The role involves active movement in the store, handling inquiries, and providing exceptional service while collaborating with departments to ensure project success. Prior sales or Lowe's experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates and orders and scheduling installations.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels, work with vendors and stores to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and company communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
