Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll inform customers about specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, while delivering consultative service on the sales floor and in the department.

In this role you’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Tools, helping customers complete home improvement projects with accurate estimates and timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience, or three years external sales experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods and lift 25 lbs.
• Sales-driven mindset with goal-oriented metrics.
• Licensure or registration may be required by state and Lowe’s will support.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and communicating benefits of Lowe’s products.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, installer visits, orders, and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory with vendors and stores to ensure merchandise availability and restock.
