Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist in the United States, with opportunities to assist customers in selecting products and turning project ideas into reality. You will become a product expert, explain features and financing options, and help customers close sales.

The role is active throughout the store, with emphasis on delivering exceptional service and meeting sales goals. Ideal candidates are customer-oriented, able to upsell services, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; able to stand and sit for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, estimate projects, schedule installers, track orders, and follow up for completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock replacement.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout and department requests, and train associates on the sales floor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
