Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become a product expert, discussing specifications, features, financing options, and promotions to close sales.

You’ll work in a department such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, or Tools, assisting customers while delivering exceptional service in a busy home-improvement environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or Lowe's experience.
• 1 year in sales or customer service with sales goals.
• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs.
• State licensure/registration if required by law (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates, installer visits, orders, and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory with vendors to ensure stock and replacements.
• Conduct price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and store operations, calls, and requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
