Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in the United States. You will be one of the first people customers meet, using sales expertise to help customers find products and turn project ideas into reality.

You’ll become the product expert, sharing specifications, features, and financing options to close sales. You’ll work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, Millwork, and more, while providing exceptional service and guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with targets or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating advantages of Lowe’s products and services.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, and track orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors/stores to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
