Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist in the United States. You will be among the first associates customers meet, helping them find products and turn ideas into reality. You’ll become a product expert, explain specifications and financing options, and close sales through consultative service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience; or 3 years external sales.
• 1 year of sales/customer service in a sales environment with goals.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe’s supports this).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe’s products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installer visits, and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors for restocks.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
