Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist who will be one of the first people customers meet, helping them identify products and turn great project ideas into reality. You will guide customers through needs, explain features, promotions, and financing to close sales in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's retail experience (or equivalent external sales experience).
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with help when needed.
• Obtain state sales-related licensure or registration if required (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling visits, and tracking orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and in-store requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
