Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in Cincinnati to welcome customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

In this role you will cover departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, engaging customers throughout their shopping journey and contributing to a high‑quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales) if education is not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates, installations, orders and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors for stock and replacements.
• Assist with pricing reviews and retention of pricing documentation.
• Support checkout processes and in-store requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coaching needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
