Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or with assistance.
• Sales licensure/registration as required by state (Lowe’s will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe’s product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; manage estimates, installations, and orders.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
